My Voice Experience

Although I have been using my voice in a range of capacities as an actor since I was 15, I am now just beginning this career as a voice over. For this reason, I am prepared to consider all types of work while I establish a solid portfolio of work and experience.

The only official 'voice over' work I have done was about 10 years ago when I was working for Linguaphone Inst. Ltd, a foreign language publishing house in London that produces foreign language tapes and courses. I was asked to stand in for a sick French actress/voice over as the sound engineer tested my voice for its suitability for 'magnetic medium' and liked it. I recorded a series of units for a beginners French course.

Since this time I have often thought about the possibility of pursuing voice as a source of extra income (it is also pretty fun to do) but I have never been sure how to go about it.

I have a wide range voice-wise. I am a versatile character actor and enjoy finding the right voice for any given role.

Additional Skills

I am a trained theatre actor and have extensive character work experience on stage.

Copy editor and writer. I have 13 years experience in the publishing industry and have worked for the past 9 years as a freelance editor/writer.

Co-run a media company. We do extensive web design/marketing/programming work, are google ad certified and provide promotion and design services.

Electronic musician. I am in an internationally touring band with a multi-instrumentalist and have access to world-renowned musicians. We can create music to fit any genre and can provide background music to accompany voice overs.

Abstract visual artist. I work on canvas and also create small to large scale installations.
