My voice is generally described as warm and sultry. For commercials it can be fun, exciting, and sexy. For business presentations it sounds professional and upbeat. I am from Texas but was originally from the Midwest so I can have an accent if needed but otherwise I have no distiguishable accent.

My Voice Experience

I have volunteered voice work for Dallas Reading and Resource Center. A business that records books on tape for the Blind and Dyslexic. I recorded children's books, a history book for a school and I did weekly readings from People magazine as well! I volunteered at this company for 1 year from 2005-2006.

My Training

I have experience doing voice overs because of being involved in the performing arts in high school, college, and now (present day ) in Dallas, TX. I have been in many shows and musicals in Dallas in the past 5 years. I have taken voice lessons for over a year to help with auditions in the Dallas Metroplex. I am also musically inclined as I can play piano and took lessons for over 7 years as a child.

I believe my vocal skills have been enhanced just because of my job...I have been teaching elementary school for the past 7 years and I have to use my vocal skills in the classroom just to keep the kids interested and on their toes!!
