My Voice Experience
Read and recorded scripts, radio commercials, internet advertising, and messages-on-hold for national clientele to include: Showcase Cinemas, American Express, Alice White wines, Charettes art supplies, and more. Performed audio editing using Amadeus II program.
Have done a variety of characters for review by David Seuss productions.
I've done straight read, accents, a few characters in various spots for KAZ-TV (Londen Media Group) in Arizona. In Massachusetts, I was the sole voice for the east coast for Showcase Cinemas for approximately 3 years.
I would like very much to do more video game or cartoon work, as I want to do more character work. It's great to be someone else, plus it's always fun to make people think you're schizophrenic.
1992-1993 Certificate in Radio and Television Broadcasting from The Northeast Broadcasting School, Boston, Massachusetts.
That's "training and education". Practical use has come from some of my other employment experiences. I made flight announcements at Logan airport in Boston.
I worked for a call center, where clear diction and pronunciation are key. I did nationally broadcast nightly spots and bumpers for the TalkAmerica Radio Network. Then, of course, I did messages on hold, internet spots, and movie listings with Marketing Messages of Boston, MA.
Also, I've been doing the "funny voices and noises" for as long as I can remember (much to the chagrin of my family).
My Studio Equipment
I have my own recording area in my home. I use a Mac to do the recording and editing using the Amadeus II editing program. I can make aiff, wav, mp3, or pretty much any type of audio file you require.
I routinely record and do the final editing before sending finished audio recordings to KAZ-TV. They use my spots for bumpers, liners, and full spots for a variety of their clientele including AVI Resort and Casino, Olsen's Grain, Maztazel Hotel and Casino, Four Corners family of restaurants, Liberty Kia of Prescott, Prescott Honda, and many more.
