My Voice Experience

I have no experience of voiceover work or acting but have been a salesman most of my working life and have worked with many different types of people from different races and cultures.I very easily adopt dialects etc etc. I have worked as an underground electrician,factory maintainence ,stocking sorter,on and off legs,furnace hand,door to door sales,double glazing sales,bus shelter erector,overseas property sales,mortgage consultant,market stall manager,new business canvasser,account manager for Warburtons Bakery for 15yrs.Florists assistant and last but not least,running Karizma Karaoke and Disco which is the best sound in the area(in my opinion)

My Training

I have no voice over training or experience. The experience I have as been gained over the years talking to and dealing with customers. You need to have the sort of voice that people trust,warm,confident,honest and positive.
A voice that that carries conviction and convinces the customer that what is being said is true.I have attended many presentation training courses and have always gained something to my adavantage

Additional Skills

I think that my present part time job is a useful skill to mention.I am a partner in "KARIZMA KARAOKE AND DISCO"
This involves generating our own business bookings and dealing with pub/club/owners managers.we also deal at ground level with the customers and start the night off by singing.Anyone who thinks all Karaoke singers are rubbish are very much mistaken.We do find some very talented people and enjoy interacting with all the customers.To make a good night "happen" we have to be part of whatever scene we are working in,and vitually become one of them.
