I specialize in the clear, crisp, announcer voice - comic-book, overdramatized, John O'Hurley type. I can also do slow & sexy, with rich tones for car sales, or rapid-fire "small print" with clarity. I've got an extensive arsenal of accents & voices, due to an excessive amount of time watching Python, Schwarzanegger & Sean Connery as a child, and also due to my upbringing in the Air Force, I've lived just about everywhere there's an accent. I'm familiar with British - both upper class & cockney, Australian, Minnesotan, Redneck, Mickey Mouse, French, Russian, Irish, Scottish, and as I mentioned already, Schwarzanegger and Connery.

My Voice Experience

I've been a professional stage actor for the past 10 years, and have done mostly musicals, so my voice is very "trained". I also have a fair amount of experience in emceeing and interacting with an audience, so I can improv well. I've only recently broken into the voiceover business, but have already recorded spots for:

My Training

I've had several private coaching sessions with PETER ROFE at PDR VOICE COACHING here in New York, and recorded my demo with him. He thinks I'm cool and he even gave me a sticker once. (Okay, that's a lie - he doesn't give out stickers.) Again, I've been making my living off my voice as an actor/singer/emcee for over 10 years now, and I've been using my voice to talk to people and ask for things for even longer than that.
