That screaming maniac on radio and tv commercials for major automobile dealers coast-to-coast is probably Jim Raposa! Jim's hard hitting reads for the nation's largest Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Nissan, Toyota (to name a few) dealers has been an integral part of sales success for auto dealers around the country.

Jim's versatility on softer sells have earned him accolades on national spots for Jewelry stores, Airlines, Investment brokerages, Lending institutions, Credit Agencies, Broadcast Imaging for radio & tv and more.

Jim is also a national radio host, appearing on programs distributed by Jones Radio Networks, Jim Raposa Radio Concerts, CBS Radio and other radio networks and syndicators.

My Training

Jim's resume is rich with 30+ years in the broadcast industry as radio personality, programmer and manager. As part of his day-to-day radio station duties, Jim became a sought after voice-over performer by various ad agencies in Southern New England (and now the nation!).

During his career, Jim has voiced thousands of television and radio commercials, industrial videos, internet web site presentations, and more.

Since 1999, Jim's full time focus has been voice overs and radio syndication ventures. In the Fall of 2008, Jim will unveil a new 24/7, subscription internet radio station (TheStandardsChannel website) which features the Great American Songbook and music from such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole, Diana Krall and others.
