My voice is deep and rich, somewhere in the tenor-baritone range. My accent is primarily Pacific Northwestern USA, but I can modify it to fit different class profiles within that basic accent category.

I am fairly versatile in what kinds of projects and tasks I will take on, and can affect any mood desired, from serious and severe to lighthearted and irreverent, darkly sensual, or even menacing, if preferred.

Since I am currently in China, I am also learning new Mandarin every day.

My Voice Experience

I have been tuning and experimenting with my voice ever since I could speak. As a child, I was very fond of singing Johnny Cash tunes, and my parents would often put me on display for their friends, who would marvel at how well, for a child of 6 or 7, I could imitate his voice. I continued singing and whistling throughout my childhood, imitating the voices of many different artists.

In 1990, at the age of 16, I did a short internship with National Public Radio. While I did not have a broadcast license, I was still able to do some pre-recorded voice-overs, reading the daily headlines.

In recent years, I have worked on a number of voice acting projects at a community theater level, and performed to voice-over roles for an flash animation movie art school project.

I hope now to expand my voice-over and voice-acting activities into the professional arena.

I do not have any professional training, but as I described above, have been honing my voice skills independently since I was a very young child.
