Voice Description
Voice reflection is one of 3 elements that make up good voice overs. The copy is another and so is the right background music, if there is any for the particular project. You must be able to record many different mood voice narrations. Happy, Serious, Fun, Warm, Urgent and many more. You must bring all the narratives to life in the mood the copy calls for. Some folks can't do that. It all comes out in the same monitone. That's not good.

My Voice Experience
I've been fortunate to have had a lot of management, sales and marketing experience in my employment besides the voice overs doing on hold tapes, radio commercials, voice overs for company training cd's and company history cd's. My life has not just been about reading copy. It has also been about living the copy, dealing with people direct and feeling some of these emotions in the business world we have been talking about. In other words if a client wants me to do an urgent voice over, I find it easy to do because I have been in many urgent situations in the business world. I feel it gives me a heads up over my competition.
My Training
I am a Columbia School of Broadcasting graduate from years ago. At the time my career was moving up the ladder in sales and marketing so I applied a lot of my new knowledge in a general way of communications. Later on in my carreer I worked as an Account Rep for different radio stations. Most of the time I wrote my own scripts for the commercials and got to do some of the voice overs. In 2002 I created an Internet Radio Station buy the name of Vetradio. I did all the spots... all the news weather and sports and jock work. In other words I was a one man show. My concentration was on informing Veterans of their rights and keeping them updated on the lates reunion information ect ect and playing the oldies of the 50's, 60's and 70's. It was great fun and a lot of work. In 2005 I shut the station down and was a casualty of internet radio just as most independents were.

Additional Skills
I also have experience in producing cd's for solo artists and small bands, Industrial and Retail Customers. In other words, taking the concept a company has and give them a turn key package on what they want. Creating the project, writing the project, recording the project and selling the project. I feel you just get a little extra with my background than a lot of announcers.
