Since 1967 I have spent my time as a troubadour. Playing in venues large and small, as well as subway stations parks and the street I have always been able to catch the attention of passers by or paying audiences. The gift I have been provided with has given me and listeners enjoyment for most of my life. By now my voice has mellowed and I have too. I found a life and a wife here in Texas and nailed my shoes to the kitchen floor(thank you Tom Paxton).
In my youth I took 8 years of classical piano training and did recitals and presentations. I took up the banjo as it is easier to travel with than a piano, discovered folk music and then it was 4 years in the navy to hone my playing skills and get a better view of how the world actually works. I have been a paid performer and a carpenter (folk music doesn't pay much)ever since I got out of the service. In the last few years I have been involved the Gaslight/Baker Theater in 4 of their productions, as well as playing various venues here in the Austin area
