Voice Description

I'm very adaptable. I've got a good ear and can imitate most of what I hear, from cartoon voices to celebrities and other characters. I am a DJ at a radio station, so I do announcements regularly. I am also a professional singer and musician and can imitate famous singers and bands. My voice range is very wide and covers several octaves. I can do deep, husky sounding male voice all the way up to castrato, and I do a great Frankie Valli. I can sing like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Robert Goulet. I did sound-alike recordings of the Beach Boys, the Doors, the Beatles, Joe Cocker, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Barry White, Janis Joplin, singing all the parts myself. I recorded a whole album singing like a duck. I can also talk like a pig.

I recorded two albums of my original music on Columbia Records and toured nationally. I appeared in New York plays and comedy clubs. I did comedy routines on stage with the Monkees. I have been an emcee presenting musical acts. I am a sound engineer and producer, and run a recording studio in which I record spoken word productions as well as music.

I work with hard disc recorders, outboard gear, Masterlink, compressors, limiters, etc. I have several condenser and dynamic microphones. I do everything from tracking to mixing and mastering. I have been doing this for 30 years.
