Voice Description
For 35 years, I have been writing and recording radio and TV commercials, corporate voice overs and more. My emphasis is on clear annunciation and properly delivered inflection. My Voice Experience
I started in radio at age 16 and have been closely associated with audio/video production ever since. I currently own an audio/video production company specializing in direct response and automotive type commercials; however, we have produced a wide variety of commercials over the years. You will find that I am very insistent on proper pronunciation with proper inflection. Inflection is what makes or breaks a good read, even when using a character voice.
My Training
My professional training is in Electronics; however, my "Baptism by Fire" training has always been in the production studio. I have had the privilege and honor to work with talents from Chicago, San Francisco, Charlotte and Miami. My voice overs have aired on television from Texas to Maine and recently nationwide on cable.
My Studio Equipment
We use Cakewalk Pro Audio at our studios. We also incorporate a Yamaha mixing console and Alesis compression. Our main microphone is an Electro-Voice Re-20, the microphone of choice for radio stations for many years. We have three music libraries at our disposal as well.
Additional Skills
You will find that I will want to make suggestions. Sorry, but it's in my nature to want to tweak scripts that don't quite read as smoothly as I think they should; however, I am a professional and will read whatever script you submit ... as is.
