Voice Description

I was born in FL & raised there & in NC to parents who were Ohio natives. I have a "soft" almost imperceptible accent that is deep & resonant. While in Catholic school growing up I never mastered the art of whispering so I was constantly in trouble. My voice is clear & my pronunciation is excellent as I've done sports play by play & a lot of public speaking/presentations over the years.

Indians, old Jewish men, Southern rednecks like Mr. Haney from Green Acres, people with no accent as well as Brits, Germans, Spanish speaking people etc.

My Voice Experience

Never done voiceover work per se, did radio sports show at UNC-Chapel Hill on WXYC FM as well as Lady Tar Heel basketball games back then too. Have been in several commercials & movies including a speaking role in an Atlanta Motor Speedway spot with Kevin Harvick one of the top NASCAR drivers.

I took public speaking, Speech & mass communications courses at UNC.

Not much right now, just a computer & microphone. Live 5 minutes from CBS Radio studio here in Charlotte where I did my aircheck.

Additional Skills

I've been in sales since college graduation in 1985 & that has led me to do seminars, presentations & meetings in front of large numbers of people. I am comfortable speaking to groups both large & small & have been told by many people that my voice carries very well.
