Voice Description

My voice is friendly,mid-range, and is well suited to work in commercials, presentations or narration. A neutral Midwest (or, if you wish, slightly southern) sound. My energy level ranges from laid-back to off-the-ceiling, and may be either “Announcer” or "Non-Announcer", as the project demands. Delivery of your project will be very believable and very sincere.

We can have a playful presentation or we can be serious, compelling, and passionate whichever you need. Delivery is clear and expressive, the object being to bring your message to the forefront of the hearer's thoughts.

Carreer experience consists of technical, sales, live presentation, and a smattering of drama. Being well-read and with a graduate degree, I am able to deliver more than words - they will get the message you want them to hear.

There are two fully-equipped professional studios in my community, allowing me to provide fine quality finished product.

I hold a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership and have been recognized for strong writing and presentation skills. A recent graduate of Susan Berkley’s Voice-Over Boot Camp, and member of the Great Voice Company Silver Inner Circle. I believe in continual training and development of my craft.

My Studio Equipment

I currently have a Digidesign MBox2 Mini with Pro Tools software and an AudioTechnica AT4040 cardioid condenser microphone with pop filter and shockmount, and Sennheiser HD280PRO headphones. I am in the process of developing a class-2 home studio. For on-the-go work, I am equipped with a laptop computer utilizing Audacity software and an AudioTechnica AT2020 USB microphone.

For thirty-plus years my voice has been my tool and hallmark of success in sales and business leadership. Through distance learning studies from voice-over professionals, this experience is being crafted into a voice-over career.
