My Voice Experience

Voice over jobs for Lifestyle. Sports. Radio. Training videos. Dramatic character voices to friendly voicemail greetings. Jim has been the ad voice for a professional soccer team, tag voice for the Tampa Tribune and other commercials and various corporate video scripts. Jim also had a radio hit in Ghana singing his own tune, Human Nature. Many years spent working with other voices also, including editing James Earl Jones for the international award-winning documentary, Rosewood Reborn.

My Training

An expert at mic technique with a selection of microphones available, Jim brings a wealth of studio experience to the job, with 20 years of media work starting as a producer in corporate presentation, moving to audio engineering and editing of many voice over sessions, commercial ads and scripts, to performing and recording his own award-winning spoken and sung parts, including original a-cappella harmonies.

Mac G5 dual with a Digidesign 002R as digital capture device. Front end tube gear: ART Pro MPA preamp and ART PRO VLA compressor. Solid state preamp: ATI M100. Monitors include the Mackie HR824. Microphones include the AKG C414 and the Blue Baby Bottle. Tons of virtual instruments for music compostition also.
