Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Accents: British, Italian, Irish, East Indian, Scottish. I am first generation Irish/Italian and can do great American Italian accents as well as a great brogue. My impersonations include; James Earl Jones, The Devil, God, whiny Jewish guy, Homer Simpson, Apoo, Principal Skinner, Sean Connery, Darth Vadar, Sith Lord, Winston Churchill, Optimus Prime, & Bill Clinton.

My Voice Experience

Ever since my voice dropped three octaves in 1986 I've been told I have a great deep voice and should do voice overs. Whether it be on the phone with a customer service rep, or the teller at the bank, or the customer in my check-out line while working the register at Trader Joe's, people have always complimented me on my voice. So I've figured if a random and diverse spectrum of everyday demographics have noticed my voice then maybe the rest of the world will find it pleasurable. I do not yet have any actual paid VO experience.

My Training

I studied under the Kayce Alltop at K-J Audio Studio in Chicago. I received 8 weeks of training and recorded a professionally edited demo. I do have acting experience. In high school and college I was in numerous plays and musicals including Mr.Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, the Narrator for Into The Woods, and Captain Keller in The Miracle Worker.

Additional Skills

My life experience has exposed me to a large variety of unique people and I have always picked up on their traits and voices. I was once a futures trader in the exchanges in Chicago. After spending 8+ hours a day surrounded my hundreds of unique individuals in an emotional roller coaster type atmosphere, I became acutely aware of all the crazy traits and voices that match them. I've also worked in law enforcement and encountered numerous interesting characters. Many of whom I will never forget.
