A proven, creative voice professional: Jim spent 8 years in radio; the majority as a production director. His task was to manage the flow of radio commercials produced and the voice talent doing the work for 4 stations. During this time, Jim personally voiced and produced over 600 spots including station bumpers, liners and drops for multiple radio stations. Jim is known for creating compelling marketing messages while maintaining quality and managing tight deadlines. Adjusting to the clients needs is never a problem.
Jim attended Connecticut School of Broadcasting. He has also attended local improv workshops and online webinars.
Jim's personal home studio features an Electrovoice RE20 microphone, Aphex 240 Dual vocal processors, an Alesis 3630 Compressor/Limiter and SawStudio for digital editing/production. He also has many professional plugin effects, plus the ability to convert and deliver in all popular audio formats. Web delivery is accessed through FTP and easy, secure user internet download for large files or email for smaller files. I highly recommend DropBox for repeat or ongoing projects (DropBox.com). CD or DVD hard copy is also available.
Jim has the ability to do full finished production, though he does not own a music or sound effects library at this time. If you provide licensed or royalty free music, a “ready for air” finished product is available. Music may be provided by Jim on a per/project basis for an additional fee (if you cover the cost, I will take care of everything for you).
