My Voice Experience

Once upon a time there was this very chatty girl from Baltimore. Her whole life she seemed to be aware of certain nuances in the life around her that others did not seem to notice. She watched much T.V. because she was fascinated by people and how they interacted.

Then one day she was so bored she decided to get off her couch and stop watching the latest sit com line up and go take an acting class at a local professional theatre. It was as if the glass box she had been living in opened up and finally let her out to experience no, truly experience the life that was around her. All those years of “being there and seeing it” but never feeling full of life were over. One class led to 6 more and then hanging around the theatre and then stage managing the Main Stage plays; socializing with people that were so talented, actors and directors.

And then she was on the stage and it was the most incredible experience of her life; she actually felt in her element. And you know what? All those years of paying so much attention to every move she observed in her days of people watching finally made sense. She was born to be more aware of her surroundings so that she could be a part of this talented, awe inspiring community: Theatre, film, drama, comedy the entire gamut. Her element, the place where she belonged. And she continues to live happily ever after.

Additional Skills

In general, I feel that my experience in the corporate arena has afforded me the experience to know how to sound for professional presentations, as I have given these in the past.

I also have experience in primary market research, doing telephone surveys, focus groups and one-to-one interviews, as well as creating the questionnaires, and working with clients to anayze the data as to determine consumer preferences. This experience is very helpful when doing ad campaigns and product promotions.

Most recently I have worked for an executive search firm and know how to find "talent" as well as being able to sell over the phone.
