Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

American English accents range from that flat 'a' found in the North & Mid Western US (think Sarah Palin or a Minnesota mom), french-accented English (Parisian). I also can speak with a southern US accenta s I lived in Alabama for part of my life. I also speak French, with a Parisian accent since I learned from Parisian teachers and lived in Strasbourg, France.

My Voice Experience

I have been a television news reporter for more than 10 years, so my primary experience is voicing over news reports. I have also done voice overs for conference videos, instructional videos for large corporations & promotions such as Kodak.

My Training

I majored in broadcast journalism at Syracuse University & over the years have worked with coaches to deepen my voice and establish better pacing.

My Studio Equipment

I have a microphone and computer editing system (Sony Vegas) that allows me to do basic channel 1,2 voice overs and compress the sound. I do not have a mixer. I do have access to a studio given a day's notice.

Additional Skills

I am an organized businessperson and a consummate researcher. I am committed to causes that help better mankind, but I prefer to not to lend my voice to political causes. I also have a lot of writing & copyediting experience.
