Voice Description

I am able to create many various tones with my voice because I am a very good mimic. I know what is appropriate for professional presentations, fun commercials, and singing is my speciality. I am about to graduate with a vocal performance degree and will be attending graduate school for vocal performance this fall, so I have been trained in singing and dialetic in Italian, German, French and English. I have taken dialectic coursework in school, so I know how to do British, southern, Irish, Brooklyn, Greek, French and etc, accents. I have always had a flair for character voices and mimicing stars like Barbra Sreisand, Ethel Merman, opera singers and the like.

My Voice Experience

I am a performer, so all of my experience comes from doing opera and musical theater roles. I have perfomed leading roles in musical theater in professional regional theaters (Geva Theatre Center), off-off broadway, (Blackfriars Theater) opera-companies (Rochester Opera Factory), college opera and music theater (Nazareth College of Rocehster), and high school music theater. I am a paid soloist and guest artist with orchestras (Greece Symphony). I have also been on a documentary by DECCA recording studios about the opera singer Renee Fleming as well as been highlighted on admission videos for the Bach Children's Chorus.

My Training

I have been singing profesionally since I was eight years old and started formal voice lessons at 12 at the Eastman School of Music. I will graduate May 13, 2006 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Nazareth College of Rochester and will be attending North Western University School of Music in Fall 2006 to begin my graduate work in vocal performance. I have taken "Voices for the Stage" in college along with three semesters worth of diction training in Italian, French, German and English.

I am a very ambitious person and want my voice to be out there and heard! Performing is my life, so I will take any opportunity to make my voice heard.
I have strong leadership skills and have headed several school organizations and served as music director and assistant conductor on several school and benefit organizations.
