My Voice Experience

Since I was just a child, I knew that I had something different than all of the others. I could listen to anything and imitate it almost instantly making me a very entertaining speaker. Over the years I have done minute recordings for musicians, teachers, and friends of radio personalities for a small fee. Never had I thought of making a career out of my many talents due to my lack of information about the subject. When I first heard my commercial on a college radio show broadcast I cried because I felt so empowered and important. Sure, I only made twenty dollars for a minute-long commercial but the feeling was entirely worth it. All of these years I've had to listen to people tell me that I should do voice-overs for a living and now I'm here to prove to prospective employers and the world that it's my time to be heard by the world.

My Training

I have had 2 years of Speech Communication, 5+ years experience in Choir, and one semester in Journalism where I perfected my news-anchor perspective on selective pronunciation of key words in entertainment.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Panasonic SX-KC611 61-Note Touch-Sensitive Portable Electronic Keyboard with a EURORACK MX 1604A Equalizer, and mostly digidesign and Panasonic microphones and a Dynamat-lined recording booth for ultimate noise reduction and soundproofing to insure the best recordings.

Additional Skills

I live to entertain and inform people and love to hear myself speak. I am also a perfectionist and slightly obsessive compulsive when it comes to the absolute best job that I am capable of accomplishing. I worked in sales and also in advertising while learning about demographics and reaching a certain audience. Skills that I know are essential when recording advertisements and opportunities with different companies.
