My Voice Experience

I was active in theatre from 1970 to 1989, where I did many jobs, including acting and voice-over recording of narration.

My Training

I studied acting with Anthony Mannino at the Drama Tree and with a number of people at the Circle in the Square.

My Studio Equipment

I'm a working musician (jazz piano) with excellent home recording equipment, including high-end AKG condenser microphones, PreSonus Firestudio computer audio interface, Cubase 4 and other recording software, and Mac Intel Core 2 Duo computer. I can produce audio files in any format.

I have an extensive library of classical music, jazz, and sound effects.

In my theatre days I used a Teac multi-track reel-to-reel recorder and mixed down to a Revox professional two-track, creating soundtracks for plays, including narration, music, and special effects.

Additional Skills

I was cofounder of the Soho Repertory Theatre and its coartistic director for 14 years. Prior to that I worked at a number of other theatres, including jobs in several capacities at the Classic Stage Company.
