My Voice Experience

I went to a local studio to record a simple demo and found out that the producer also wrote jingles for local companies and kept my voice on file to use as a sample. Not long after I was told by the producer that there were a few companies that really liked my smooth jazzy vocal skills and wanted me to record their radio jingles as my producer wrote them. In all I did jingles for a local School of Technology, a Plumbing and Heating company and a Dental Office which then gave my career a boost and was then offered a contract with the American Music Theatre located here in Lancaster, PA. I regretfully turned down the offer in pursuit of something more stable.

My Training

I took voice lessons starting in Jr. High school which led to many solo parts in our choir competitions all the way through Sr. High school. I recieved the award for Male Vocal Solo all 3 (Sophomore, Junior, and Senior) years of high school which then landed me a scholarship to a private college in Beckley, WV. There I took voice lessons, music theory, sight singing and ear training but I decided not to finish and join the US Air Force - the stupid things we do when we're young!

Additional Skills

I am a versatile artist with many different influences that give me the ability to create something unique and personal. I've sang in many groups including accapella and having an ear for excellent harmony writing. I have written many different harmonies for soloists who want to sing their own background vocals on songs that wouldn't normally have those to create "their own unique version" as well as style.
