Voice Description

My voice has been compared to that of James Earl Jones; smooth, deep and resonating. In fact I do a great impression of the man, along with some of his memorable characters and Barry White. I have studied many different dialects and accents specifically Australian, West Indian, African, Hiphop, and East Asian. I also do Ossie Davis, Redd Foxx and, can represent with my voice, many different ages especially elderly.

My Voice Experience

I have loved acting with my voice ever since High School. I started out annoucing BINGO games when I was in the Army, putting a different twist on the way numbers were called got me recognized. then I really got a chance to showcase my talent as a radio executive, creating unique and relevant commercial spots and laying down the voice-overs myself. I began using a variety of different characters that helped boost sales for our clients. Later I worked as a commercial Producer for a television station and became the voice of the community. Throughout all of this experience I also have done a great deal of stage acting and writing.

My Training

I was educated at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where I studied and recieved a degree in Broadcast Communication/Acting. A great deal of my training comes from both of the curriculumns I studied at ISU; the rest comes from on the job at the different places I've worked.
