My Voice Experience

I have almost no experience in voiceover except for Instructional videos I created for Thomson Learning. I do however have the capacity to undertake any project successfully due to my personal flexibility and knowledge of the audio field. I have been a music producer for 20 years and have mastered albums for others as well as my own work.

I am constantly asked if I am a radio DJ because of my low and powerful voice, and I am also often asked simply to say things for people on internet voice chats in one of my various voices. People seem to get a thrill out of hearing me speak, I have been asked to come into a voice chat just so some friends could listen to my voice.

I have very high grammatical and reading skills and it comes through when I speak and read out loud. I do not stumble over words, and I sound suitably intelligent when I use my informational voice.

I have confidence in the quality of my voice recordings and finished works as well as being skilled at the creation of electronic sounds and music based on synthesis. I have my own studio of decent quality gear (no apogee or teletronix yet unfortunately) and I am willing to discuss getting more tools for the job should it be required.

My Training

No training or education in the field but plenty of audio experience and currently attending college at the Art Institute of Portland. A keen memeory and exposure to many aspects of the media industry through past jobs and experiences make me decently aware of the necessary quality levels and techniques to produce excellent work.

I am self driven to learn and expand my ability in the audio field and have been since I was very young. I am now 35 and have become very knowledgeable about audio production but do not hold any licenses nor do I claim to be an expert in the field, simply a skilled worker with a good voice.
