I have done voice overs for United Nations documentaries and educational films from studio in Africa, England and the United States.

I have worked as a Swahili language broadcaster, reading news, features, documentaries, interviews, and continuity work with the Voice of America 1984 to 2006; British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC London) 1970 to 1976; Family Radio in California 2006 to date.

I do audio recordings (voicing and editing only) using AUDACITY 1.3 BETA (Unicode) recording system and SONY Sound Forge Audio Studio; I use EURORACK MIX 602A mixer with two microphone outlets connected to a computer.

Additional Skills

Apart from working as a Swahili language broadcaster, I also work as a freelance Interpreter and translator from (English into Swahili language). I work for Immigration courts and other courts, police, hospitals, etc.

I have previously worked as a Public Relations Officer.
