My Voice Experience

I was exposed to VoiceOver through the school of VoiceTrax founded by Samantha Paris, my senior year of high school. I have been in the VoiceOver field for about four years, auditioning through my agents DPN Talent in Los Angeles, and Stars Agency in San Francisco. I booked my first job in January of 2009, for a video game named Art of Murder 2, which is murder-mystery game in the style of a Law and Order or CSI episode. It was dramatic and dark. I was the voice of the French Politician accused of murder.

My Training

I have been taking classes at VoiceTrax San Francisco for about five years. I have taken beginning classes, as well as advanced professional classes. These classes have included, narration, video games, retail, promos, character classes, and audiobooks. I am still currently taking classes at VoiceTrax and will continue to do so, since there is always something to improve upon. I was able to obtain two agents from taking classes here with guest directors.
I learned about Voicetrax from listening to an interview with Samantha Paris (Owner and Operator) on NPR. She said she was holding a seminar class around my area that was open to whomever wanted to attend. I attended the Beginning Seminar and have been hooked ever since.
I am also involved in music, I can read music, been playing the drums for 14 years, and can also play basic guitar.

Additional Skills

I am a full time college student at Cal Poly Pomona University. I have been an avid video game player for most of my life. I am a World of Warcraft subscriber and have been playing for about four years. I also enjoy other types of Video games, such as Racing, FPS, and RTS. I am also a food server at Mimi's Cafe, and have been serving for three years.
