My Voice Experience

I used to work for a radio station in mid-Michigan and did a few Michigan lottery commercials when I worked there as well as have my own on air shift at a rock station. More recently I did an internet promo for the band Hand To Hand promoting their new album release. I also narrated a slide show presentation for a business class presenting to small business owners as well as a tv commercial for a concert venue in the same fashion. I also did the intro and outro for a podcast done by H20 church in Orlando, FL.

My Training

I attended Full Sail University with an A.S. in Recording Arts in which I learned how to record and mix music, vocals and other audio as well as microphone techniques. I also got my B.S. in Music Business from the same school in which I got experience on the business side of the industry as well as using my voice in many projects. I have recording experience outside of school when I recorded and mixed some songs for a local comedian as well as mixing some tracks for an independent artist. I have experience using Pro Tools, Logic, and Cubase recording software.

Additional Skills

I have recorded myself and added music to projects. I have my own music and SFX library that can be used when needed. My experience in radio has taught me what kinds of things radio stations look for in promos and my school experience has given much insight on how to make things sound good as well as when and how to do that.
