Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Canadian English (Not including a Newfoundland accent), Japanese, Partial New Jersey style English, slight Southern drawl, some British styled English.

I would say my Japanese pronunciation is pretty spot on, although I am not a native speaker, I have always had good pronunciation when given the words in romanji. This would be great for things such as anime related dubs switching back and forth from Japanese to English.

My Voice Experience

Truthfully, I am pretty much a greenhorn to this industry, but I have always wanted to be a performer. I have had a radio show at our local University radio station (92.5 FM "The 'X'" for seven and a half years now. I have recorded several commercials for my show and have years of on air experience in this way.

I took a special course offered by acclaimed Vancouver-based voice actress, Cathy Weseluck in 2003 when she was in town teaching. While we learned the basics of voice overs, we made a simple demo but nothing too fancy. It was a lot of fun though, and it was partially what inspired my love of performing.

My Training

Voice Acting 101 as taught by Cathy Weseluck for a day in Kamloops, BC in 2003.
