Voice Description

I was born in London of caribbean parentage.

On stage I have portayed many middle class women, Maids, also the servant Elizabeth (in Arthur Miller's The Crucible)and the Jazz artiste Billie Holiday. Today I would say my accent is very down to earth but educated. I have a slight mellow under tone. This can be livened if I smiled through what I am reading. I like to be audible and precise when trying to sell a product.

I have held a British Equity card and contributed to their Union. But today I would consider myself as non-unionist.
