Voice Description

I have a very broad vocal range. My voice is naturally a pleasant medium to high educated sound, formal enough for announcements and phone reception, documentaries and books on tape. I have a very "NPR" sound, but I can utilize character voice techniques to provide a younger sound or to do voice over characters. I am paticularly good at anime voices due to my japanese language expirience (I studied for a year in japan). I have had professional
instruction in dialect work and can voice a high and cockney british sound, a city and country australian sound and a standard russian, german and french accent. I can do 7 regional american accents including east coast, new york, new jersey, mid-western, southern, texan and west coast and french canadian. I am an operatic soprano with a very full, rich sound remnant of the german dramatic style. I can also sing jazz and jingles, but I do not have a traditional pop sound.

My Voice Experience

I work fulltime at a 'AAA' radio station doing on-air work and commercial production. I have previously worked for a message-on-hold company and am currently contracting for a training/consultation firm to record all of their web-based training videos. I have a theatrical resume available, as well.

My Training

I completed my course work ina Theatrical conservatory program which included the dialect training mentioned above. I studied standard japanese in America and later spent 10 months living in the Kansai region of Japan, so my Kansai-ben and western japanese sound are more pronounced.
