Voice Description

I am primarily interested in singing commercials and narrating stories and documentaries. I have a very versatile vocal range and singing style - from calm and relaxing with mild vibrato to powerful and up beat with intricate and accurate dynamics. My lower alto range is rich, sultry, and peaceful, while my higher range is very powerful and commands attention. My speaking voice is warm and intellectual, to playful and youthful. I am extremely flexible to suite your needs to facilitate the results you want.

My Voice Experience

I was born and raised in Southern California and decided to move to Texas 2 years ago. I have been singing in public since the 6th grade, when I was requested to do so on a regular basis, 2 times per week. On good days, I can ad lib lyrics on the fly that convey a strong message in a witty and personable way. I currently sing for our church in the contemporary praise band here in Texas. I am continuously growing musically, and exercise my voice everyday. I have sung at countless weddings and I have also sung in numerous clubs with various bands. I have experience with recording in a California studio, although the recordings that I had made were accidentally destroyed.

My Training

I was vocally trained throughout high school by the Head of the District's Music Director. I was given a scholarship for singing and acting. I wanted to perfect my skills out of high school, so I went to a vocal coach. After hearing me sing, she felt that she could not improve my vocal abilities and she asked that I discontinue the class. I have the aptitude for writing songs and poetry, and have done so without committing them to record.
