My Voice Experience
I'm a public radio reporter whose work has been heard nationally on National Public Radio as well as on member stations including WAMC, WFAE, and Maine Public Broadcasting.
A storyteller by nature, I have a gift for delivering information in a confident, relaxed manner. I'm a sponge for new ideas with a knack for conveying complicated information in a way that's fun, accessible and easy to understand.
My Training
BA in American Studies from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Graduated with honors in 2003.
Attended the Salt Institute of Documentary Studies in Fall 2007. This one semester program is a NPR training ground. Received personal voice training from Vicki Merrick who coaches NPR's This I Believe series.
My Studio Equipment
I have my own studio equipped with sound proofing and an AKG Perception 100 condenser mic. I have extensive audio editing experience with Pro Tools. I can edit my own tracks and deliver several perfect takes via FTP.
Additional Skills
I spent several years producing a three hour daily public radio program on WAMC Northeast Public Radio. I'm fast, efficient, and detail oriented with the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and deliver high quality audio.
