My Voice Experience

I have been acting and singing for almost 16 years now. I continue to develop my voice by singing daily. I have been in about 15 plays throughout grade/high school and have done some work at local civic theatres. Some of the plays I have been a lead in include: A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Murder is Announced, Once Upon a Mattress, James and the Giant Peach, Godspell, Pippin, Guys and Dolls, The Wiz, Macbeth. A great deal of the acting that I have done has been in school productions, but very professional.

My Training

I have had acting training at Catholic Central High School, Grand Valley State University, and at a couple of workshops in New York. I have had voice training from Blessed Sacrament choir, Catholic Central choir and Grand Valley choir. All of the schools are in my hometown of Grand Rapids, MI or Allendale, MI, with the exception of New York of course.

Additional Skills

I first starting thinking about voice over acting when I starting watching cartoons at a young age. I wanted to be the person giving those characters a voice. I am told almost daily that I have a very pleasant and cheerful voice.
I am trained to do different dialects and accents, and can pick up on new accents pretty easy if given the resources. I am very dependable and punctual. I have a strong work ethic.
