Voice Description

I have a very energetic, fun, and flirty voice which translates into a welcoming and friendly undertone. I'd be best suited as a character voice or voices which require a slight sarcasm. I can deliver in British, Irish, baby, 'alien' , and other variations of dialects and odd characters. I've been told I sound like Ethel Merman; but most usually my Minnesota accent has a tendency to come out.

My Voice Experience

I am just starting to get into voice-over work, but have been told that I would be perfect for it. My experience lies with my musical theater and cheerleading background. My comedic timing, fun personality, and warm and inviting tone will be good for voice over work.

Currently, I work at the Kennedy Center, booking actors and stage managers for touring productions. Now, it is my turn to lend a talent of mine to the field.

My Training

I majored in Speech and Theater in college and mostly practice my voices in the car, shower, or in public places for a good laugh. While studying abroad in London, I 'became' British. I enjoy movies, theater, and television. I used to watch Touched by an Angel to get that Irish accent just right.
What I lack in experience and training, I have in the ability to work, learn, and lend my voice to projects.

Additional Skills

From cheerleading to theater, substitute teacher to program assistant, I think I have encountered enough in my life to hold the attention of an audience willing to listen. I would love to reach an even bigger audience through voice over work.
