Voice Description

My voice is very versatile. When I was employed at KZ95 FM, my range of commercials went from dramatic to comedy. My voice can reel a listener in with whatever the message I am delivering through the advertisement. It is unique because I articulate very well without much effort.

I am able to do a snobby, poor southern, and voices for animation. Since I have done quite a bit of theater, I am able to tackle different character types. I can be the girl next door to having a bit of a seductive voice. With practice, I am able to speak in an English accent.

My Voice Experience

I worked as a part-time on-air personality for Chaparral Broadcasting (KZ95, 89.5 FM) in Jackson, Hole Wyoming from 2006-2008. While working at the station, I performed various commercials ranging from radio shack to pizza hut. I was the lead female voice for station promotions. When the news director was on vacation, I would fill in for her and record the news.

While employed at the radio station, we produced a radio soap opera titled, "As the Teton Turns," where I played the female lead.

I have a background in theater and have performed in many productions which includes: drama, comedy, and musical theater.

In college, I was the voice of the campus radio station at WNTE, 89.5 in Mansfield, PA. I did the news, weather, liners for the station along with breaking news.

My Training

I have a broadcasting and theater degree from Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA. I graduated in 1994. During my time there, I was involved with the campus radio station as the office manager, on-air personality, voice for the news, weather, and station liners. I was a part of the theater as an on stage actor, stage manager, voice over announcer,sound operator, etc.

I worked as a casting director for the television show, Forensic Files in 2000-2001.

I was employed as a production assistant for Rocky Mountain PBS in 1994.

I have a PC with cool edit software and a microphone.

Additional Skills

When I lived out in Jackson Hole, I was asked to be the voice on our phone system for the company Croakies, where I was also employed.

Most of my positions since college required me to use my voice. I may not have always worked in the entertainment realm, but I have always felt that no matter what job, I was doing at the time, I was always entertaining someone with my voice whether it be on the radio or the other end of the phone.
