I am a native English speaker, but I also speak Spanish and German. As for impersonations, I can sound like an old British lady or an Indian guy ;)

My Voice Experience

My very first voice project was with one of the former engineers at the Record Plant (Hotel California)-- performing a narration over his orchestral interpretation of a story showing the life of Christ.

I am currently working on a music and voice project with a member of the Dallas Symphony and a local film house.

My Training

I work with Gayla Rickard Music Studio-- She trained with Eastman School of music, and had 4 scholarships to music institutions. She quickly recognized my talent and began recording with me.

I've also trained with Bill Baur and Minnie Lou Alexander, plus sang in an R&B group.

My degree is in the health sciences, and I have experience with teaching yoga plus nutritional supplements, which has made me stronger vocally. I am able to sing R&B or opera, plus folk and pieces with a lot of harmony. I have a good ear and ability to understand what a client wants.

I have received so many compliments on my voice over the years, so I have continued to develop my skills.

I've written fitness articles, scripts, and have a good business and problem-solving acumen.

My Studio Equipment

I run Logic Studio 9 in my own studio and record vocals using a RODE NT1. The vocals are clean, plus I can add music and effects if needed. Logic 9 has a self-contained mixer, sound and instrument library, and the ability to apply all sorts of effects, including speech enhancement, which can further add to clarity.

I use a MAudio MIDI keyboard for input of other instruments, plus Presonus Firepod and Mackie studio monitors.

Additional Skills

I have had a career in the medical field spanning 6 years, plus training in IT Audit, so I understand a lot of medical and technical vocabulary.

I now run an online marketing business as a maketing consultant, so I speak with a variety of clients on a regular basis where I help them figure out what elements are vital to create the campaign results they want.

I feel it is my attention to detail and ability to listen that makes the difference.
