My Voice Experience

I have been a voice-over actor since 1996. I have done projects to help children learn to read and to help moms give birth more comfortably. I have helped people understand how to get rich quickly and demonstrated how to improve customer service skills. I've done tutorials for banks on how to become more efficient and tutorials for new car owners trying to learn how to use their stereo system. I've been the reassuring teacher, the competent sales professional, the satisfied customer, the confused receptionist, the happy child, the shell-shocked stay-at-home mom, the ambitious student and the terse bank teller.

My Training

Master of Music in Vocal Performance (Classical) - 1992
Master of Fine Arts in Vocal Coaching and Training for the Theater - 1994

Through my studies, I learned German fluently (study abroad) and had intensive instruction on French, Italian, Spanish and Russian pronunciation.

I am a voice, speech, dialects and singing teacher with training in breathing, projection, inflection, articulation, dialects, acting and text interpretation.

I sing and perform classical, musical theater, pop and jazz.

I have extensive long-form improv training and have been performing as an improv actor since 2000.
