Various English regional accents and dialects, characters of different ages and social classes. Also, whacky cartoon characters.

My Voice Experience

Over the last few decades I have done every type of voice work imaginable, from newsreading with the BBC to corporate narrating to voicing commercials. Recent work includes providing voices for a BBC Television programme for the disabled, a BBC promo for digital tv, voices for a BBC documentary about the last Pope and radio commercials for Lloyds TSB and Nokia.

My most recent undertaking is to provide the opening and closing announcements for a religious programme broadcast on a British independent radio station.

My Training

I trained at the Royal Academy of Music and the Mountview Theatre School in London, I also studied French, German and Italian at school.

I regularly attend drama and singing workshops in London.

My Studio Equipment

I do not claim to be a technician but have a Prima LT ISDN unit and Spirit Notepad mixer in my studio.

Additional Skills

Having trained in music and studied the piano and the violin, together with Harmony, Counterpoint and Aural, while not a musician, I nevertheless consider myself to be extremely musical. This, over the years, has been a great help to me as a voice-over artist, a branch of performing in which it is imperative to have a musical ear.
