My Voice Experience

Voice over is increasingly become my favorite of all the performance and commuication avenues I pursue. I enjoy storytelling, and voiceover challenges one to do that in a pure and sometimes quite abbreviated format. I enjoy that challenge. I started experimenting with my voice around the year 2000 when my acting agent in Seattle suggested I do so. I was cast in several commercials right away, and thought I better start to study voice technique if I wanted to make a serious pursuit of voice acting. After years of listening to coaches and consequently hours of listening to myself and other voice talent, I now have found my vocal niche and find great comfort there. I have made ads for Ford, Coors, Wolf Camera, QWEST, Hilton Hotels, The Alzheimer's Association, The Bel Rea Institute and The Washington Apple Commission to name a few. I have done narratives, web instructionals, web industrials, video games and jingles.

My Studio Equipment

I use a Sound Forge recording and editing system. I have easy and regular access to an additional system with a Pro Tools recording and editing system, ISDN, and Phone Patch capabilities.

Additional Skills

I am a trained actor- both theatrical and on-camera. I am a trained singer with a musical theatre, jazz and indie rock experience. I also have producing experience in theatre, film and dance.
