My Voice Experience

I am a teacher for children with autism and often read the same material constantly but vary it in a way for it to remain interesting over time. Most of my students have auditory sensitivities so I change the tone, octave, and pitch of my voice to each childs specifications. I speak on tapes for the school to use when teaching language to nonverbal students. I am employed at the Little Star School in Carmel, Indiana for 5 months now.

My Training

My formal training is in education. Throughout my college years at Vanderbilt in nashville, TN I was active in performing arts, mainly acting. For the majority of my life I have been on some type of speech, debate, or drama group/troupe.
