My Voice Experience

I began my career in the broadcast and media production industry during my senior year in high school. I was hooked immediately, and have done little else since. My radio experience was interrupted by television for a few years where I learned video editing and production. I have done many thousands of commercials and promos, and voice over work on video documentaries and tourism videos. My true love is voice over and post production work.

My Training

While I don't have and formal training in voice overs, I have participated in several seminars on the topic. I am active in the local arts community, including the theatre guild and have performed in several productions. I am an avid musician, have played in several road bands. I play drums and guitar. I have more than 30 years experience in the broadcast industry, which included on-air, production and journalism duties.

My Studio Equipment

My studio is computer based. The software I currently use is Cool Edit Pro. It has four track capability and built-in effects, and files can be saved in a variety of formats. My microphone is an AKG Perception 100.

Additional Skills

My years of experience have required me to be very flexible with my voice over and production abilities. I consider myself a perfectionist, and won't quit until I'm sure it's the best product I can produce.
