Voice Description
For most situations including but not limited to radio, promos, training, audiobooks, industrials, etc. I have a relatively deep, resonant, smooth, commanding voice but not a smoker's deep voice nor a trebly voice. My voice is warm, friendly and non-confrontational. A hip everyman (or is that an oxymoron?). I do NOT have a typical east coast voice and I would take it a step further and say I have little to no regional dialect of any sort. I pride myself on my elocution and exactness.
For radio commercials, i am versatile enough to switch into more ethnic voices, but I do not speak any foreign languages. If you've heard the long running AM/PM ads ("Too much good stuff", which were done by either Steve Tyrell or Billy Vera I believe), I am definitely able to cop that vibe. In other words, I can sound not-so-very-Caucasian-at all, if the gig calls for that. In other words, I can be quite playful and edgy, too.

My Voice Experience
Half my voice-over life has been spent on the East coast and the other half in LA, so my client list is diverse.
I have done a lot of local and regional voice-overs for radio and my work has been heard on both coasts. I have recorded these spots in studios I was sent to, ones zI chose based on the project and budget and have also recorded at radio stations such as KNX in Los Angeles. I have done a lot of great work out of my home studio as well.
In California I did radio spots for: Koo-Koo-Roo California Kitchen, Fatburger, Political Action Committee for the city of LA, Video & Audio Center, The Original Family Recipes Society, Mr. Miniblind, Culver City Import Group and Artistic Designs.
On the right coast, I have done radio spots for Twisted Networking, Terranova Designs, The City Of Asbury Park, New Jersey Computers, William & Mary College and I've done movie screen voice-overs for Central Jersey Gold Buyers.
I have also been called upon many times to coach and deliver other voice-over performers, ranging from kids to adults.
My Training
BA, Communications, American University, Wash., D.C.
I've attended several classes and workshops in voice-overs in both LA and NYC.
I own a jingle production company and music-driven advertising company and have worked with many radio stations and ad sales people and gen. mgrs.
I am a professional working musician (guitar and vocal) and songwriter with 2 commercial releases of original music.
My Studio Equipment
Mac G5 (I am proficient in Garageband and Logic),,
I have Rode microphones, a TASCAM US122 Audio Midi interface, Alesis M1 Active Monitors, M-Audio mini keyboard, acoustic and electric guitars.
Additional Skills
I am easy-going, have a good sense of humor and always deliver the finished product on time, meeting or surpassing my client's expectation.
I bring a lot of creativity to the table, but an equal amount of organization and professionalism. I treat every project as if my future hinges on it.
Prior clients have told me I have an uncanny knack of being able to work with, if not thrive on minimal project description and yet ultimately be able to "nail" the job.
So I guess the best word for this is intuitive.
