Voice Description

I use a clear, smooth voice. It is medium-deep voice, with natural inflection. The voice-overs I've done have been non-accented. Classic "Radio Voice," but not like Wolfman Jack. More like Casey Kasem. Telling children's stories, I use different voices; squeeky elf, barrel-laughing Santa, village idiot, etc.,

My Voice Experience

I am the Pastor of a small church here in Corona, and preach every Sunday. I use an entertaining and informative, informal-lecture type of delivery because it helps engage everyone's attention. When I edit the recordings for the CD's we provide, they sound good, (even to my self-critical ears.)
I've done voice mail greetings and answering system greetings. I am featured as the on-camera presenter for a Real Estate and Mortgage DVD training series. It was recorded in 2 takes, and edited for time. I've also done internal voice over for onhold music.
I have a weekly radio program on Radio Maranata (FM101.5,) a local Corona, CA station. I do the English-language hour Mondays and Tuesdays. I also had a weekly radio program (AM1570,) for almost a year. (Had to give that up when we moved.)

My Training

Licensed Real Estate Broker with 18 years in the business. Bachelor of Religious Education. I can speak intelligently about many subjects, confident without sounding cocky.
I developed enunciation as the main narrator in a touring choir. I worked in phone sales for years, wrote a Fortune 100's script procedure, and was featured in their training videos.
As a public speaker, I have to be entertaining, informative, interesting, and funny long enough to get my point across. I still speak regularly to groups from 20 up to crowds of hundreds.
