My Training

I attended the North Carolina Governor's School with a major in Theatre in 1986. I subsequently graduated from North Forsyth High School in North Carolina with a North Carolina Scholar designation in 1988. I completed one year of undergraduate study at Mars Hill College as a Musical Theatre major. A three-year matriculation at the North Carolina School Of the Arts as an Opera Performance major followed during which time I studied with William Beck, James Allbritten and Marilyn Taylor. I am a Dean's List student at High Point University where I anticipate completing all course work necessary to receive a B.A. in Communications by May, 2010.

Professionally, I have performed with National Opera Company, Piedmont Opera Theatre, NYU School Of Film, PBS and regional theatres across the United States. I have also appeared in concert in six countries and multiple states in the USA.

I have hosted and produced multiple award-winning radio programs in North Carolina since 2001.

My Studio Equipment

I record on an Electro Voice RE-20 microphone on a boom shock mount with double spaced pop screen. I also use a Mackie 802-VLZ3 mixing board, a DBX 166XL compressor, a Lexicon Lambda audio interface and a Yamaha SM15V speaker powered by a Peavey PV900 amplifier. All cables are Whirlwind MK Series. The headphones are Audio Technica ATH-M50. I edit the sound files with Adobe Audition 3.0 on a Windows Vista computer accessing a Seagate Tetrabyte external hard drive for audio storage.

Additional Skills

An award-winning actor, musician, journalist and broadcaster, I am available to provide THE voice for your next project including commerical, narration, political, imaging, film, radio and television. A fully furnished studio allows me to provide everything from raw vocal tracks to completely edited and produced spots ready for immediate broadcast. Projects of all sizes are welcome.

I have also done extensive work as a concert artist, stage/arena announcer, radio host, music director, worship leader, producer, editor and storyteller.
