Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

My natural accent is a typical, middle class London accent. I am capable of raising the class of my accent, and also lowering it considerably to a street level.
Intelligent and articulate, are two qualities that best describe it.

My Voice Experience

Virtually all of my voice over experience, is in the field of telephone services and I.V.R.
Working mainly on premium rate services, such as nationally advertised games, and services.
Between 2000 and 2005, I provided the voice for a nationally advertised automated life insurance service.

Throughout this period, I have also written the telephone services, and the scripts. I spent several years studying the psychology of the voice, in order to make every word count. It's not what you say. It's how you say it.

In the past 4 years I have concentrated mainly on my music, and singing. I have had terrestrial airplay on Radio and T.V., and have had material featured on a globally released album.

My Training

Most of my voice over education was gained through experience in the field. Having provided voices for a number of different services and products over the years.
I was initially guided by experts in the industry, until I was competent enough to move forward myself.
I studied the human voice, and with the help of psychologists, I became adept at identifying the differences and subtleties required to vocally market different types of propositions.
I have been used on a consultancy basis to help profile the delivery of a number of I.V.R. services.

I have used such applications as VBVoice, Ease and some other custom built scripting services from companies such as C3 in the UK.

I have been a Singer/Songwriter for a number of years now, but not what I consider professionally.

My Studio Equipment

I run a P.C. with:

Cakewalk Sonar (Plus various plugins).
Cool Edit Pro.

I own an acoustic and Fender electric guitar.
An AKG C1000 condenser microphone.
Senheisser Headphones.
Small monitor speaker.

Additional Skills

One of my greatest attributes is my study of vocal psychology.
From this I have gained the expertise to know which tone and expression suits a particular project.
So not only is my voice on offer, but also my expertise in knowing how to deliver what is required.
