My Voice Experience

Being new to this industry creates a challenge for me, but one that I am willing to step up to. Have done a few small VO's locally and spent a year reading audio books for RFB&D (reading for the blind and dyslexic).
Am currently also a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society and sing as a bass singer for the last four years.

My Training

Attended broadcasting school in the late 80's. Was a DJ at a country radio station in 1986. Rehearse for 3.5 hours on Monday nights with a Barbershop Chorus as well as performing in quartets and as a chorus publicly multiple times a year.

Have also worked with Ben Werlin at SUCH-A-VOICE and Terry Daniel who assisted me in creating my professional demo and continue to be encouraged by the opportunities to learn more and grow in this industry from Terry at Voice Over Club.

My Studio Equipment

Pro-Tools LE 8.0.5 w/ the MBOX 2 Mini, MXL 990 microphone and in-home studio. Walls are sound proofed and sound proof curtains complete this 8' x 8' studio

Additional Skills

Worked in the cable TV industry for the last 17 years starting as an installer and spending the last 9 years as a technical supervisor over a crew of 14. Worked one on one with customers by telephone, in person or at their homes as well as working well internally and interdepartmentally. Also included time spent with several commercial and large projects to completion.

The experience and time in the US Army has wrought in me a strong work ethic and desire to achieve and supply the best of my abilities to satisfy customers or clients alike. All these God-given talents will help to bring success in every endevor.
