Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Imagine a "Heath Ledger" type voice who can also do "Jack Nicholson", "Woody Allen", "Barry Fitzgerald", "Long John Silver", "Vito Corleone" and "Sam Elliot".
My "New York" accent can range from "The Bowery Boys" to "The Sopranos".
My list of voices for "aliens" range from two foot tall, high-pitched volatile "fireplugs" to rumbling eight foot tall giants who sound like "Hagrid" from the "Harry Potter" stories.

My Voice Experience

I've done five audiobooks. Two of them are "Sci-FI/Inspirational" (Aliens dealing with apocalyptic situations; i.e., Neptune Space Station being attacked by a fallen angel), and Three of them are "Sci-Fi/Comedy" (i.e., aliens who have conquered the galaxy are addicted to cheese, so instead of drug running, the three books deal with "Cheese Running").
I have never been to Six Flags Across America, but, in the "Batman Stunt Shows", I am the voice of "The Joker".
In the late 1980's, early 1990's I did voice work (and on-camera work) for "The Adventures of Superboy".
On radio, I have played characters ranging from 42 year old mama's boys, to termites, to maids (ala "Mrs. Confusion" from Monty Python's Flying Circus), to superheroes, to french chefs and much more.

My Training

Ever since I was little, I was always interested in cartoon and character voices. Finding I had an ear for mimicry, I loved to learn different accents and characterizations.
I received a B.A. degree in Communications/Broadcasting from Hofstra University, and then studied acting in NY at HB Studios. My first foray (no relation to June Foray, although she is one of my favorites!) into voice overs happened when a friend of mine got me into a studio that dubbed foreign films into English. I was hooked after that!
I also became involved with puppeteering. Doing shows for children and creating voices for some of the various puppets, I found out how powerful a storytelling tool the voice really was. Living both in New York and Florida, I was able to expand my experiences; meeting studio engineers and other voice over artists. I've even branched out into teaching voice over workshops at comic book and sci-fi conventions where I appear as a celebrity guest.

My Studio Equipment

I have a very basic setup at home. A Mac Powerbook G4 and ProTools. I do have friends with their own, more advanced studios.
