Voice Description
I have performed a variety of dialects including backwoods country, New York/New Jersey, Irish/Scottish accent, British accent and a German accent--which I pickup up while hosting a foreign exchange student a few years back. Two of my favorites are Mr. Haney from "Green Acres" and a self made character "Guido" who kinda sounds like a New York/New Jersey thug. I also have a funny sounding rambling old man voice that's good for silly projects.

My Voice Experience
Nearly 30 years in radio and have done voice over work for radio and TV including national satellite & cable. I've owned three radio stations--but have just one left, and trying hard to change that! I believe I have a pretty full understanding of the A-Z's of the need for versatility and expediency--not to mention a budget! I've had extensive experience with radio and television commercials, On-Hold messaging, Automated Attendant Greetings & Messages, Voice Mail greetings and Ive recorded several narrations for video and internet presentations. I am currently on the air at the station I own, as well as voicetracking for a country station in central Michigan.
My Training
I started in Radio when I was 15 years old at WYFI, a 50,000 watt FM station in Norfolk, Virginia. I attended Brown Institute for Broadcasting in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I have experience writing and producing commercials--taking the project from conceptual to the finished product.

Additional Skills
In addition to a radio station full of goodies, I have a personal project studio with a vintage Auditronics 501 console and a variety of microphones. However, I can edit with the best of them with Ampex tape, a razor blade and a box of Band-Aids. (I've always said that if Richard Nixon had sent ME his tapes, he'd STILL be president--or at least not have gotten into all that trouble.) I use Adobe Audition in my studio and have a website where I can post audio, and can send MP3 via Internet, and overnight on CD or DAT.
