One word could describe Jeffrey Alan Miller's vocal talent: Versatile
He can project a smooth, professional delivery that seems at once personable and spontaneous yet assured and polished. He can project bright and enthusiastic with a youthful exuberance. He can be authoritative and booming, with a resonant, operatic quality that has developed no doubt from years of classical study of the 'Bel Canto' song repertoire.
At 33, Jeff has mastery of a warm and sensuous, inviting style. He can project a mature baritone, and the next minute show the brighter, light and melodic vocal tambres of a jester.
He can be powerfully, even somberly engaging with a serious tone, and also be sarcastic with a sense of humour like that of Stephen Colbert or Woody Allen. His natural voice, at it's most unpretentious, is gentle and warm, easy to listen to.
A true artist of his craft, Jeff has also been listening and developing the art of mimicry, characterization and impersonation since childhood.
Jeff channels a wide range of characters. A fan of Peter Sellers and Jonathan Winters, he has the uncanny ability to mimic nearly any voice he hears and create separate personalities within the same conversation. Teen to adult, he's got it all.
Jeff speaks only one fluent language(English) but is proficient in recreating a number of different dialects such as British, Elizabethan, Irish, Cockney, Scots, Australia, Italian, Russian, Hindustani, European, lilting Louisiana drawl, California surfer dude, casual southern/red neck sensibility, New Yorker/Jersey, Brooklyn/Bed-Stuy, Bostonian, Mid/Upper-Northwest, Canadian/Scandinavian, and of course the nasality of his Upstate NY-Rochester area.
