Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

As for characters, I have developed a strong, loud, posh sounding voice, (a bit "over the top" you might say!) which you might find ideal for selling glitzy stuff, or promoting glamorous shows. (There'a another bloke doing it in London apparently, but this one is a lot cheaper!)

I can do some impressions too, and will develop character styles for audiobooks and stories. Just ask.

My Voice Experience

In radio production, my work spans ‘on-air’ presentation, journalism, (news gathering and reporting), and outside broadcast work. I have worked on specialist radio shows such as documentaries, and current affairs. I started off as a volunteer in hospital radio broadcasting.

I enjoy taking clear direction from clients, and will work to achieve the optimum result.
I am professional, and if something is not quite right, I will suggest something different to make it better.

Whether it's a documentary read for the natural world on TV, a new product launch that requires some vocal punch, or maybe an e-learning site where you want others to listen and learn, I will help you achieve it.

Additional Skills

I am also a qualified sound engineer, (own company) which involves mixing sound for a wide variety of recording artists, and sound system design. My practical engineering background involves electronics, math’s and physics.

I have previously worked for five years in the financial sector marketing pensions, and investments. I can make a really technical read sound interesting, and give it the spontaneity it needs to encourage your audience not just to listen, but also take on board.

I always take a great personal interest in what I am reading, and my challenge is to infect others with the same enthusiasm for the subject, no matter how complex it might be. Challenging reads do not have to sound be boring!

I graduated as a fully qualified Electrical and Electronics engineer, which means I can fix things too.
